Business Terms and Conditions of Use


Use of this website and business transactions with CAN SUPERCONDUCTORS are subject to these Terms and Conditions. By placing your order (both in the e-shop or via email or otherwise) you confirm you have read these Terms and Conditions and you agree with them in full and without any reservations.

All prices are correct at the time of their online publication or when quoted to a customer. Prices are subject to change without notice. All orders are charged in EUR, USD or CZK (for purchases within the Czech Republic).

All items are promoted in good faith to be available at the time of ordering without any reasonable delay.

Customs and International Duty

Czech value added tax is removed from all international orders outside the EU. Your order may, however, be subject to your local custom's duties and/or local taxes in the country of destination. Please check with your local authority to ascertain applicable rates. Any additional charge must be borne by the recipient.

VAT within the European Union

Czech VAT in the amount of 21% is charged to all orders from the EU customers who order either as private persons or who do not provide a valid EU VAT number of their organization when placing their order.

Security and protection of personal data

CAN SUPERCONDUCTORS, s.r.o. declares, that all personal data collected from customers are strictly confidential and handled in accordance with General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) (EU) 2016/679. No personal data are disclosed to any third parties. Return Policy / Withdrawal from the Contract

(only applies to purchases via e-shop made by private buyers/consumers)

You may return new, unopened items sold and fulfilled by CAN SUPERCONDUCTORS, s.r.o. via its e-shop within 14 days of delivery for a full refund (excl. shipping charges). When returning the items you must inform us, that you are withdrawing from the purchase contract entered into when placing the order. 

Warranty Period / Warranty Claims

The warranty is governed by applicable regulations of the Civil Code and Consumer Protection Act. Warranty period for "consumers" (private persons, non-business entities as defined by the Czech Civil Code) is 24 months from delivery. Warranty period for business entities (entrepreneurs, partnerships, companies, etc.) is 12 months from delivery. To apply a warranty claim, please contact us at with a detailed description of the problem and we will will assess the eligibility of the claim and either replace the product or provide a refund. Warranty does not cover wear and tear, and damages arisen from misuse or use not in accordance with the product instructions.

Applicable Law

Business transations entered into through this website are governed by the law of the Czech Republic and the EU. In the case of any disputes related to obligations resulting from the contractual relations between CAN SUPERCONDUCTORS, s.r.o. and the customer both parties will show reasonable effort to settle their disputes through a mutual agreement. Should no agreement be reached, the applicable courts for the dispute settlement shall exclusively be the courts of the Czech Republic.

Alternative Dispute Resolution (Out of Court Settlement of Consumer Disputes)

In accordance with the Act no. 634/1992 Sb. on Consumer Protection, as fully amended, the out of court settlements of consumer disputes over a contract for work or contact for provision of services are resolved by the Czech Trade Inspection Authority. More information can be found at:
